In May 2018, AWB Building Co was awarded the Nature Play Project at Beckenham Primary School. Moving into a technological world, Nature Plays provide the correct tools to encourage strength, growth and resilience. Our scope of works included:
- Ground scanning in proposed area, excavation works and liaising with structural consultants for excavation, concrete footings, retaining walls etc.
- Supply and install specified playground mulch soft fall and soft landscaping.
- Supply and install various specified play equipment throughout the playground (900mm diameter concrete tunnel, Tree stump steppers, raised timber stage/deck, Cargo net, Observation Tower with 1m ladder for access, Log Ladder, Rock Wall, Climbing Ropes, Balancing beams, Monkey Bars, Flying Fox, Teepee, Totem Poles and Tyres).
- Reticulation adjustments as required; graffiti coating and protective sealant on limestone and concrete.
