AWB Building Co. was awarded the Block G Full Roof replacement Project at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for the Gowdie Management Group (Department of Health).
The works included disconnection and isolation of all services, demolition and removal of existing roof, crane up of new materials, safety barricading and new safety walkways, new kliplock roof sheeting, insulation, flashings and associated materials.
The initial program of works was 10 weeks however, AWB managed to complete the works over 8 weeks with 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Due to the environment of these works, planning and project management was integral to the successful outcome of this project.
